custom post loop with various classes

  • Hi there,

    Can somebody help me with creating a post loop with various classes for example:

    ———————
    | |
    | BLOG1 |
    ———————
    | | |
    | BLOG2 | BLOG3 |
    _____________________
    | |__blog5|
    |___Blog4___|__blog6|
    ———————
    | |
    | BLOG7 |
    ———————
    | | |
    | BLOG8 | BLOG9 |
    _____________________
    | |__blog11|
    |___Blog10__|__blog12|
    etc..

    and if i post a new item it will be like this:

    ———————
    | |
    | newpost |
    ———————
    | | |
    | BLOG1 | BLOG2 |
    _____________________
    | |__blog4|
    |___Blog3___|__blog5|
    etcetc

    hope this make some sense..
    Is it possible to create this kind of loop?

    example is shown on the elitedaily site
    not to promote this site but i love the way they loop their posts.
