  • Great that you raised this point. We have already been planning this feature for our WordPress integration. Can you please give us some suggestions on following points

? What all the places on a post page you’d like Emotify to appear?
? What could be the best way to put that settings on WP dashboard?

Right now Emotify appears right after the post by default. If you know WP coding structure, you can use our Web/JS code and put it at the place of your choice and it’ll work. We’d definitely like to incorporate that in our WP plugin after having some clarity of above points.

We have also added some cool new features on Emotify widget and dashboard and some more coming soon. Do give us your feedback.

    Hey,

Thanks, I didn’t think of using the web code. That definitely works for what we want to do.

In terms of the WordPress plugin, the main reason we wanted a custom section is because the widget would load before/after content that has been designed in a way to fit together and it just looked out of place.

So the best way that I think you could offer full integration is by adding a PHP code that people can use to insert into their own PHP files and then that will allow them to set a custom position from WordPress, of course, that would be just the same as using the Web code, but some people do prefer plugins.

I also think it would be interesting to have some kind of WordPress widget, and maybe a comments position to load the widget alongside the comments automatically, for users who don’t know how to access the files.

Glad that you found it useful.
Your suggestions seem wonderful. I’d love to discuss more and clear a few doubts.
Can we please connect on twitter DM to have some more clarity on this?
