Custom Place Holder For Thumbnail ID

Please can you help with something?

I know there is an #_EVENTIMAGEURL placeholder to return the URL of featured IMAGE for an event. How could I create a placeholder to return the IMAGE ID of the featured image? There is easy PHP code to do this: echo get_post_thumbnail_id();

Please can you help me do this? I need to get the featured image ID because I have an awesome slider plugin that will work within the events but it needs to know the featured image ID to run.
