    Hi,

we are running the website https://www.metal-observer.com, which is based on a mySQL database with PHP queries and a full CMS backend. In order to be more flexible with the design changes, we were wondering, if it was possible to incorporate the existing database (more than 23 000 entries) into WP (Cover WP theme) by importing existing PHP code?

We have next to no technical knowledge of PHP (the guy who designed the site for us vanished without a trace), so I might be completely off…

    Any help, insight or ideas?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

It’s certainly possible, but you’d have to import the posts (entries) manually, unless you can export them somehow… It’s hard to do that for home grown sites because they’re, y’know, home grown. No one else has done that before, for your specific situation.
