Custom permalinks not working when xili lang is active

    Hi,

    I’m using xili language with twenty-twelve xili child theme and if I set permalinks to post name it shows the post number instead of the name and some links get broken (I think all those with translated pages).

    Could you please help me fix this as I need this setting for optimal SEO.

    Recent xili multilingual child themes of bundled WordPress theme are available in xiligroup github repository : https://github.com/dev-xiligroup?tab=repositories. Permalink features are available for all via settings, but documented only for donators or professional supported customers. These features are visible in example websites to these child themes.
    Just to add an observation: since many years, SEO is based on the content of page and not on meta or URI… As cited on many articles : the content, the content and the content.

    Many thanks for your response Michel.

    My issue was easily solved, I just needed to change the slug names for my posts/pages.

    In regards to your tip, I can understand the URI might not be important for SEO but almost every article I’ve read mentions meta tags in SEO optimization. I’m just learning about SEO so I’m a bit confused now… ??

    Anyway, thanks for your post and for the great plugin!
