Custom page with child theme

    Hi,
    I’m using stow which has no single-private-page.php and is a sub theme of varia. I’ve tried adding single-private-page.php to my stow folder and editing it, it doesn’t seem to make any difference to the default private page, I bin the existing page and hit the generate button after making any changes. What does the content of this file display and what can I change it to?

    Hi @ysaied631,

    Single-private-page.php needs to contain the same as single.php from your parent theme. Then make changes to it. Also, the default private page setting only gets applied to new users, doesn’t work for already created private pages.
