• Right now I have clickable image thumbnails in posts that open in a new window showing the full size image. The problem is that in this new window, it is just a blank window.. it doesn’t have my site format. I’d like to create a new page that should be shown everytime a thumbnail is clicked that will “hold” the full sized image, and still retain my headers, footers and sidebar. Is there a way to create a new page, and then link to that page while passing an image file as a parameter to be displayed?

  • That should be pretty easy to do with a PHP script, but WordPress 2.0 will have what you’re asking for. If you plan on upgrading it may be worth waiting until it’s released.

Thanks! I kind of figured it could be done with php.. I’ve got a few books laying around here about php, but could anyone give me a starting point.. just an overview of how it might work? I’m sure I can work out the code on my own, but I’m at a loss as to where to start.
