custom page showing specific category with navigation

  • Hi,

    I want to make two pages example.com/news/ and example.com/jobs/
    in /news/ it should show posts from NEWS category only and in /jobs/ it should show all categories except NEW category and these pages / links allow pagination such as /news/page-2/ /jobs/page-9/

    Please help me out with coding and also let me know if I have to set htaccess use function to modify htaccess.

  • The Blog In Blog plugin will let you set up pages for the two categories.

    Pagination is a separate issue and depends on your theme. If your theme has pagination for category pages, you are set. If not, you will need to create a modified template to include pagination. The exact coding depends on your theme.

    If you are using a free theme, post a link to its download site and you may be able to get more specific advice. If you are using a purchased theme, you should contact the theme supplier.
