Custom Order Number Gets Skipped

  • Hi,

    I have been having a few cases where the custom order number sequence number got skipped. I tried to trace from the database wp_postmeta and wp_posts. The skipped number somehow pointed to an ‘auto-draft’ post status in wp_posts. I couldn’t figure out why. Does this plugin reserve a number when the order is in draft mode?

    The plugin does not reserve or assign custom order numbers to orders in the auto-draft status. I have tested this scenario and confirmed that auto-draft posts are not assigned custom order numbers by the plugin.
