Custom Meta populate field in profile

    Hi, I have a profile form based on a registration form created with UM. I want to add new custom fields to the profile form only with the Default Value pulling from data inserted on the reg form (the fields being pulled from registration form are also present in profile form).

    I’ve tried using {usermeta:city} {usermeta:data1} and it just displays that text – not pulling in the info that has been submitted.

    What am I missing?

    It’s not clear. It should sync the field value in the profile form from the register form if they have the exact field name/key.

    I did a text field with plain text which comes up on the front profile fine. but when using Meta it doesn’t read anything. see image please: https://postimg.cc/VStkkWR7

    Did you add the same field type in the Register form and Profile form?

    For example: “Where do you live?” is a text field in the Register form. And then you will have to use the same text field with the same meta key in the Profile Form.

    Hi, yes the field types are the same. The meta works when on a straight page text block, but not when used in the “default value” on a field.

    I will work around and tell my client its not possible. thank you.
