Custom Meta Box not appearing on Post Edit Page

    The custom meta box for the auto publish for google my business is not appearing on the post edit page that I’m working on. Therefore, I cannot checkbox any box to publish the post automatically to my googlemybusiness.

    I tried to deactivate and delete and reinstall and activate it again and that still did not work. What should I do?

    Hi @dariawon1,

    What is the post type you are trying to share? Is it a standard post or a custom post?

    What you need to do is ensure in the plugin settings, in the “Sharing Options” tab, that you have checked the post type you want to share with for the option called “Share the following: Posts, Pages and Custom Post Types”. So if you want to ensure it works on posts, make sure that “Post” is checked etc.

    yes. That’s what I have checkmarked. It was working before when it was downloaded (about a year ago) and now it’s not.

    Hi @dariawon1,

    Can you please confirm the post type that the issue is occurring on? Is it standard posts or a custom post type? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and seeing if it appears?

    Are you using the Classic or Gutenberg editor?

    it’s a standard post.
    which other plugins should I deactivate? I have quite a few… :/

    I’m using classic editor.

    Hi @dariawon1,

    In the screen options button in the top right hand corner of the screen, do you have our metabox enabled? Do you know what I mean?

    If that is enabled, then yes, try deactivating all other plugins except ours.
