Hi, I inserted custom (translated) validation messages and they are working fine in the WPForm preview, but in the real website they do not change.

Moreover, where can I change the “Form has not been submitted…” or the thank you messages?

Thanks for this beautiful plugin, aside from these small issues I setup my form easily.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi rbmusica,

I’m sorry to hear you’re seeing an issue with this. I tried following the bit.ly link you shared, however it took me to a 404 page (here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing). However, I may be able to assist without page access.

First, the “Thank You” message that you see after submitting the form can be changed in the form builder under Settings > Confirmation. For more details, here’s our tutorial on confirmation settings.

Next, any standard validation messages (such as “This field is required.”) can be modified using our built in options under WPForms > Settings > Validation. If you tried this already and it doesn’t seem to be working, but the original validation messages do work, it’s possible that some older code is getting cached. Could you try clearing any caching plugins on your site, as well as clearing the cache in your browser, to see if this helps?

Last, you can easily translate error messages such as “Form has not been submitted, please see the errors below” with a translation plugin/service. Here’s our tutorial on translating forms, which will also let you translate this and similar error messages.

    I hope this helps! ??
