I am using custom menus from Appearance->Menus for both primary and secondary menus. I use the Weaver theme.

All works fine until I try to define a sub-menu by drag-n-dropping to the right in the menu definition box. It moves them to the right and shows them as sub-menus. However, when you click Save Menu, it moves them all back to parent menus.

It doesn’t matter what type the parent or sub-menu is. It does this with pages, links, etc. I have tried different combinations.

    Any ideas?

  • Justa shot in the dark, I have had a similar issue in the past and it was my browser so it may be worth trying another just in case.

That was more than a shot in the dark. That was the SOLUTION!! Can’t thank you enough.

Here’s the details in case anyone else has this issue too.
The issue descibed above with Save Menu happened in IE 9.0.8112.16421.

I switched to IE 7.0.5730.11 and saving sub-menus worked correctly.

thnx to u 2, in chrome WP gave the same problem , did not save the drop down menu. Safari however worked.
