Custom Menu Stopped Working

  • My custom links have stopped working. The link option shows in the custom menu, however, nothing happens when you select it. Also, the custom items that were previously set up still show on the site but they also no longer work. Anyone have any ideas?

    It sounds like some how the links got disassociated.

    You might want to try this:

    Goto ‘Appearance’ –> ‘Menus’ and remove the custom links in question. Then Re-Add them.

    Let me know if that works.

    Unfortunately, it does not allow me to re-add. Though the link is there, it doesn’t work either.

    Are these custom links to pages? Possible to link your site?

    Yes, they are custom links to pages.

    Site is finally back up and I’ve figured out that it might have something to do with the landing page I was trying to set up. Whenever I activate that page, I lose the links on the site.

    However, the link in the custom menu area doesn’t work at all – no matter what.
