Custom menu not adding categories

    I just added the custom menu with 1 category to my theme and saved it. I fear that maybe my template does not support this. My template is called “BlackBoard” from TemplatesSold. I have e-mailed them but they do not offer this support for plugin issues.

    Is there a way I can allow my theme to show custom menus? By adding any type of code?

    Custom menus aren’t plugins. They’re part of WordPress core. I can only suggest that you go back to the theme vendors and point out that their theme does not support the current version of WordPress (or any version since 3.0).
