• Hi,
I am a visually impaired (totally blind) user.
I just installed wp 3.0 and appreciate your efforts totally. Including the system, which has already been used by previous 2.8 and 2.9x wp branches, of allowing an “accessible mode” in widget management, that is, a radio button to choose sidebar where to place widgets, and a combo box with the position where to put it in correct desired order.
    Well,
now the trouble is in the custom menu feature.
First of all, the “+” sign used to enable menu creation, is not keyboard-accessible, I had to make me help by a sighted person to reach and click it. I’d suggest on “screen settings” to set up a function as “show ‘create menu’ link” and an accessible mode as in widgets, because the drag&drop functionality, to put menu elements in order, is not accessible via keyboard at all.
    You know what it means?
    Simple:
does a blind wordpress administrator, for some reason, make a mistake while creating the menu, such as putting a link/page/category… in a wrong order?
There’s no simple way to correct the order without affecting the whole menu structure.
The only way to do it, is deleting the whole menu and create a new one, taking more care, element by element, of what you’re doing.
It’d be better if, even for the menus, there is a structure in accessible mode as it is in widgets
    thanks in advance for help
