Custom markers

Hi, im a beginner when it comes to complicated coding. I want to add a custom marker but have no idea how to do it. I have visited the documentary page (https://wpstorelocator.co/document/use-custom-markers/) but its a bit too complicated for me, can you (Tijmen) or someone else please tell me in a more simplistic way?
