Given you make it utterly impossible to contact you for a non-specific reason that doesn’t need some sort of paid account addon, I have no option but to put this here.

You really need to allow non-alpahnumeric characters in the custom login url. I have to use alpha chars only, and then edit the login in phpMyAdmin, or it will not save in the plugin settings. Given it works perfectly after manual editing, there’s clearly no objection to using special characters

    Hello @migster ,

URLs with non-Latin characters do work in the Custom Login URL field. The non-Latin characters only need to be added with their UFT-8 code instead. You can look these up here:

    https://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_urlencode.ASP

So, if you need to include the character “?” in the custom URL, you should add it in its encoded format: “%C3%B1”.

    Please, give this a try.

    That’s exactly my point, though.

All I want to add is a dash/hyphen. I shouldn’t have to encode or escape anything, just for that. It’s really quite short-sighted to add that kind of restriction

    Hi @migster,

the special characters were intentionally disallowed in the custom login page’s field in version 1.3.7. This is why you should perform the encoding manually as mentioned above by @plamenm.

I have already brought your suggestion to the attention of our developers and they will consider whether to allow using special characters in the Custom Login field again in future versions of the plugin.
