    Hello Sir,

My website is a Community and Social Network website powered by BuddyPress.

As a Community and Social Network website, it means that hundreds of people will be Logging in to Register and create Accounts on the website.

Now, we don’t want these users to ever see the WP-Admin and the WP-Login.Php Pages.

In short, we don’t want these our users to even know that a WP-Admin and WP-Login.Php Page even exist.

The flow should be that, even if people deliberately type “ mydomain.com/wp-admin ” or they deliberately type “ mydomain.com/wp-login.php ”, it should immediately and instantly redirect them to a Custom Frontend Login Page that we have created– and they should never see the “ wp-admin ” and “ wp-login.php ” Pages.

2.) The Custom Login Form should be able to allow the possibility to Reset Password.

And this Reset Password Form must bypass the WP-Login.Php Page to execute the Reset Password process.

    Can RegistrationMagic achieve this?

    Regards.

    Hi @gbordormor22,

With RegistrationMagic’s login form, you can easily setup password reset functionality. Also, RegistrationMagic’s password reset works through its own login page. The wp-login.php page is completely bypassed.

Thank You very much Sir, for your reply.

The reply did help me to know what’s possible with RegistrationMagic plugin.

    MOVING ON
My website is a BuddyPress powered Social Community website.

Now, I chose BuddyPress because it is Free, and the website I am making, is a Free Directory for Men of my Church.

This means, no money will be made from the website, and that’s why I went the BuddyPress way.

    THE SITUATION
Unfortunately, BuddyPress doesn’t have a Frontend Login Form.

BuddyPress was designed in such a way that it should work inside WordPress.

To “work inside WordPress” means that it depends on the WordPress User Management Flow to work– and this amplifies to mean that people Login to the website through the WP-Login.Php Page.

And when Logged in, they land on the WP-Admin Page.

In 99% of the time, we don’t want these people to ever see the WP-Admin and the WP-Login.Php Pages.

In short, we don’t want these our users to even know that a WP-Admin and WP-Login.Php Page even exist.

The flow should follow that, even if people deliberately type “ mydomain.com/wp-admin ” or they deliberately type “ mydomain.com/wp-login.php ” , it should immediately and instantly redirect them to a Custom Frontend Login Page that we have created– and they should never see the “ wp-admin ” and “ wp-login.php ” Pages.

The reason why this is necessary, is because the WP-Admin Page confuses our users, and also makes them to think that there are different User flows on the website.

But with a Frontend Login Form that bypasses the WP-Admin and WP-Login.Php Pages, the User flow becomes quite straight forward, convenient and easy.

In essence, all I need from RegistrationMagic is just:
    a.) The Login module.
    b.) The Reset Password module.
    c.) The Redirection module.

All of which will bypass the WP-Admin and WP-Login.Php Pages.

    MY PROBLEMS WITH REGISTRATION MAGIC
    1.)NO CUSTOM REDIRECTION
BuddyPress 12.0 no longer has regular WordPress Pages, as you can see here– https://prnt.sc/ZujrcQgeTO-q

It now uses URLs to dynamically load its Pages.

So, during my Login Page Setup, I couldn’t achieve a redirection of my Users to their BuddyPress Profile Page.

The URL to the BuddyPress Profile Page is– https://buddyx.cordialmarketplace.com/members/username

Unfortunately, this Page doesn’t exist as a WordPress Page.

So I am not able to do a redirection to it, from the RegistrationMagic redirection module, as you can see here– https://prnt.sc/LCvGK5bBitMM

1.) Please, how do I solve this problem? — I mean, how do I create Custom link redirection in RegistrationMagic?

Needing to hear from you soon.
    Regards
