Custom login form

  • Does anyone know how to use the first and last name of a user as well as their password to login instead of using username. All the users in my wordpress site have a First and Last name. I understand that by default, WordPress doesn’t require you to have a first and last name, so that is why it uses username.

    This can be a custom form, it doesn’t have to be part of WordPress login functionality.

    But I need a way to have them input their first name in one field, and their last name in another, then finally their password.

    Any help would be appreciated.
