    Hi there,

First of all, thanks for an absolutely wonderful plugin. It’s been really helpful for our site.

I apologize if this problem has come up before, I did some searching and didn’t run into anything.

I have a custom user list made to serve as our website’s “member directory.” I’ve changed some of the settings under the “Configure a user list” page, namely, I switched the public html type to “simple” and I’ve enabled the “search” option. When this is done, the list displays as I’d like it.

However, for about the fourth or fifth time, after a period of time the settings “reset” to default – public html type goes to “table” and the search function gets disabled. I have had to go in and re-do these settings. Would you have any idea what could be “resetting” these configuration settings? I’m pretty sure I’m not doing it and I believe there aren’t any other users that have the permissions to make such changes.

How weird – those settings are stored in wordpress options, so unless something is saving/overwriting them – they should never change.

Just trying to think how to detect this….

I’d try make the settings the way u want – then logout completely , clear browser cache – maybe use a different browser even and check.

Also double check u have the right listtype. There is some logic that if it can’t find certain things it will go to default listtype – but that should only happen if settings are seriously messed up.

If that doesn’t shed any light on the matter, try uninstalling the plugin, clear out the options, reinstall with clean re downloaded code even and then step through settings carefully in sequence, saving each screen.
