Custom Linked Post Type: Instructors

    This free extension seems to work perfectly out of the box (mostly)…
    It creates the “Instructor” custom post type
    It allows you to add/edit/view Instructors (in admin)
    It creates single Instructor views on the front end.

    HOWEVER:

    The Instructor meta box does NOT display in the single event editor.
    AFAICT, it is supposed to be injected after the Organizers meta box..
    but it does not display at all, so I cannot choose or display instructors in my events.

    Brand new installation of The Events Calendar 6.0.3 and Post Type: Instructors extension 1.0.2. I’m using Kadence theme.

    Note: I may follow the extension’s instructions to remove Organizers and only use Instructors, but I’d like to get Instructors working first.

    Dev feedback: It would be nice if this extension added an Instructors block that could be added to the event.

    Has anyone gotten this to work?

    Hi @thorworx-1, apologies for the delay here, I’m back now. I was able to replicate the issue with the extension installed in version 6 and was able to make it work in version 5.

    Please note that we have limited support for our extension. You have the following option for now, not until we update the extension to be compatible with version 6.

    • Downgrade to v5 and continue using the Extension
    • Upgrade to v6 and disable the Extension.

    Sorry to hear about this, but I’d notify our devs in regard to this.
