custom link will open a new tab after download

    hi guys, how are you doing?
    I am trying to provide some free downloadable file on my website and I am using easy digital download and easy digital downloads free download plugin, it’s working fine but I want some extra future.
    can you help with that?
    for example, now when someone tries to download the file, after the clicking on the download button one popup opens and they have to enter your email address in order to download the file. I don’t want that. I want when someone clicks on the download button the product will be directed downloaded and A custom link will open a new tab.
    how can I do this? Can anybody help me with this?

    Yes, you can do it. Kindly navigate to Plugin Settings > Extensions > Free Downloads

    There is an option named ‘Direct Download’. This will enable the direct download of file without asking user info.
