• Hi! Sorry if this topic is a repetition, I am very lousy using the keyword at Search.

Is there a code that allow me to add a custom url as a sub category?
For example, I have 3 categories in navigation bar: Home, Shop, and Miscellaneous.

I have a forum site and a game site which I want to put under Miscellaneous, so the forum and game act as a subcategory in navigation bar. Is that possible?

  • If your menu bar shows pages, the Page Links To plugin may do what you want.

You would need to make child pages of ‘Forum’ and ‘Games’ to ‘Miscellaneous’, and link them to the other sites.

    thanks for your reply.
    It’s post categories, any ideas?

Is the nav bar really showing categories? When you add a new category, does it automatically show up on the nav bar? If so, can you just set ‘Forum’ and ‘Games’ as children of ‘Miscellaneous’?

If the nav bar is showing pages, i.e. when you add a page it shows up on the nav bar, then try the suggestion I first posted.

    no can’t do that.
the “forum” and the “game” use custom url, a link to my other sites. Anyone?

If you can’t find another solution, could you switch your nav to pages?

Create pages for ‘Home’, ‘Shop’, and ‘Miscellaneous’. Then create child pages to ‘Miscellaneous’ of ‘Forum’ and ‘Games’.

Use the Page Links To plugin to link each page to its proper content.
