Custom keyword linking to self

I really like this plugin, but I am having a problem with the settings.
I turned ‘allow links to self’ off and made a custom keyword like this:
Keyword|{url}
When I go to this url the keyword is still linking to itself.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
