Custom Invoice Number with auto-increment?

  • Hi, I’m planning to migrate from our internal invoice system to WordPress + WP Invoice. Before making the switch though, I’d like to know wheter WP Invoice can generate invoice numbers in a certain format; or if not, if there’s a possibility I can write a small piece of code for that (I have WP dev experience).

    The format is: YYYY-MM-NNN
    Example: 2015-06-019
    Where 2015 is the year, 06 is the month, and NNN is the auto-increment number.

    Note: manually adding a custom invoice id everytime for each individual invoice is not an option, since the entire point of our migration is to get a system that auto-generates this.

    sorry, I’m afraid it is impossible for current version. And I don’t think small piece of code will help. =(
