Custom "Insert Into Post" function

I’ve been trying to use the newest Media Manager in my plugin and it’s working perfectly, i’ve been using this tutorial: https://www.wproots.com/upload-media-in-meta-boxes/

The only thing I want to change now is the function that runs when you click “Insert Into Post”, I want to have it insert it into a custom area instead of the editor space.
