Custom input mask in phone field

Hello,
The custom input mask in phone field doesnt work – always taking “default”.
If I change to international – there is no problem.
In the /fields/phone/field.php is only:if($field['config']['type'] == 'international'){ $mask = '+99 99 999 9999'; }
