• hi.

i’ve a few custom fields where users can upload photos.

but i can’t seem to locate those photos. i’m using a plugin that allows me to access all media folders and i was able to locate the folder that gets created for new members.

but within those individual folders, the images are not there. in fact, the message that gets displayed is “no files found”.

so where exactly can i search for these photos?

any light thrown in this matter is much appreciated. thank you!

    Hi @seed2launch,

You can find Ultimate member images on your server/wp-content/uploads/ultimatemember folder.

    Hi @seed2launch,
Can you please clarify what do you mean by “unable to view the images in the ultimate member folder” and how you are trying to view these images?

    Regards.

as i mentioned earlier, i use a plugin called “media library folders” to view the media folders in my db. since i use wordpress.com (not .org), i don’t have access to the db by default and hence have to resort to using plugins.

the plugin was working fine so far but i started noticing issues when new users were being added to the system over the last couple of weeks. the images are getting loaded in the front end. but i can’t seem to access it from the backend.

this has affected all the user folders and for some reason, none of the images are stored in the user’s folder. here’s a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/tIJejcu

    i have two questions:
    a) how can i access the images that were stored in this folder? do you recommend any plugin for WP beginners like me?
    b) can’t these images be stored directly on the default “Media” folder? it will make our lives easier for sure, no?

i request your assistance in this please @ultimatemembersupport

    thank you kindly
