    Hello, my friend,

I am afraid that this is the one single case where it is not possible for the plugin to work. Could you send me the link to the website to check how the image urls appear in the HTML code and make sure?

    Cheers,

    Hi Takis,

Thanks for the update. Here is the short url – https://goo.gl/NZSJEn

I may have not explained in full. Hide my wordpress plugin only rewrites so that /wp-content/uploads looks like /file. The images are still stores under /wp-content/uploads

Currently for your plugin to work, I have entered the normal uploads path i.e. /wp-content/uploads. I need to know if its possible to change the code somwhere so it looks like the image path is /file

    Thanks for your guidance.

    Hello, Sheena,

I think the rewrite that the “Hide my WordPress” plugin created will not work with my plugin. This is because my plugin needs to take the requesting url and translate it to an identical path inside the WordPress installation. So if the requesting url is changed then my plugin will be -sort of- tricked and will not find the images to serve. I would like to see this confirmed in practice, but I am quite sure this is what will happen.

I am so sorry about that! ??

I wish there was something I can do, but right now I can only promise to consider adding such an option in a future release.

    Cheers,
    Takis

ευχαριστ? Takis for the explanation. I will keep it with the default path for it to work which is more important. Though, kindly consider it in the future for custom image path.

Have a great weekend in “Athens”
