Custom Image not working

I added an image using a custom field (wp custom fields plugin). I double checked the id of the field and the id I’m using in the slider plugin, so this is correct.
The problem is, that in the generated HTML the src of the img is set to the ID of the image and not to its physical location (https://myurl.com/something/myimage.jpg).
In the wp field plugin I checked the option to return the URL of the image and not its id.anyone has a fix for this problem?
