I am unable to upload a custom icon. Upon uploading, I see an error message in the “Steps” popup saying “thumb_error” and in the main screen, under the green Save button, it says “Some Error Occurred During Custom Upload Icon.” My icon is 50×50 and only 2 KB.

I have read the FAQ. I am on the latest version of WordPress. I have tried this in 2 browsers (Firefox & Safari, latest version, no extensions or blockers) and have tried both versions of the plugin itself.

    PHP version: 5.6.29
    Curl support: ON
    allow_url_fopen: ON

    Any other ideas or suggestions?

Thank you for your question. If you fixed the points in the FAQ, then the only one thing we can think of is that there is an issue with the GD library function which we used in the upload custom icons functionality. It is working fine on 99% of servers but we don’t fully understand yet why it doesn’t work in 1%. Maybe your server guys can look into it?

Well that’s a bummer. I’ll ask and let you know.
