Custom Icon

Hi.

Most of icons displayed on modern sites and WP themes are fonts’ icons. But let’s say I have my own set of icons and small gfx designed for particular site (svg or png, search icon, cart icon etc…) that are unique and can’t be found in fonts. How can I embed them into child theme to replace/override original icons?

Is converting svg to font icon the best way to do it? If so, which tool do u recommend for that?
