custom header size

  • I would like an easy step by step procedure to take an image and upload it as my customer header. I’ve been trying, but only a section of the picture ends up showing up.
    I’ve cropped it in Microsoft’s Picture manager and re-sized it to 1920 X 400. Still showing up just a section and blurry.
    Don’t know what to do!!!

    Inkzine.
    I’ve been playing around with different themes. I’m not even sure where I got it from.
    I’m very new to wordpress. Looking at different blogs to see what I may really want.
    I’m stuck on this very fundamental operation!
    At first, I tried to upload my logo, but it was too big, and couldn’t figure out how to resize that. I would actually prefer that to a cropped photo.

    Thanks for helping me. Sorry I’ve not replied sooner. Very busy at work and had to put this on the back burner.
    My problem lied in re-sizing my image and have figured it out.
