Custom header/sidebar for gamipress/single-rank.php template

When you create a rank type, its slug is the post type slug

For example, if you create the rank type “Levels” with the slug “levels” you will need to use the single-levels.php

I created rank type with slug general-rank

I renamed single-rank.php for single-general-rank.php – not working.

I renamed single-rank.php for single-rank-general-rank.php – it worked but not as expected, it still uses single.php file.

Then, you should contact to the theme author to meet why you can’t override the theme template file

The template file should be single-{post-type}.php so the single-general-rank.php should work
