Custom Header Nav not working

    I was using the Elementor Pro Nav Menu widget but have removed my license, and deactivated the plugin from this site and want to use Custom Header Nav which I have used elsewhere.

    However, despite deleting the original Custom Header (as advised in a previous post), and removing it from Trash too, I can still not get the Custom Header Nav menu to display on a new custom header …. it merely displays the characters 2125.

    I have added another menu above it using the Custom Menu widget to confirm the menu options are set up correctly.

    Any ideas how to fix this please?

    Right, I think I have fixed it. I went into Customize > Header > Menu and the drop-down for the menu template was blank. I changed this to the default drop-down option of “–select–” and the 2125 was replaced by the correct menu.

    Hope others find this useful if they stumble across the same error.

    All working now on the temporary site I created – now to try it on the real thing. I will either be back with an update or to mark as resolved.

    Works fine on the main site by performing the same action so can therefore be closed.
