custom header is cut off in IE….& on the ipad

I have also found that it is actually cut off in chrome also…it just looks great on my pc that I’m building the site on…just not on anything else…

I’m sure that it has something to do with the size of the jpeg…just need some help in fixing..

I’ve checked in Chrome, IE7-9 and I can’t recreate your problem as i don’t see the header being cut. Can you tell me specifically what browser this is happening in?

on my computer it is fine in chrome and IE…. it’s crazy it’s just that way on other computers….
I know it was messed up on safari on an ipad..
I’m sure it has something to do with my css

It is fine in IE 7, 8, 9; FF and Chrome. It is also fine on an iphone with puffin browser.

[edit] Correction. The header on an iphone with Puffin does not show the extra white space you added on the right side. Also the entire site does not scale properly in Safari on an iphone.

thanks so much for looking over this…. so why won’t it work correctly in Safari?
do you know what I need to fix so that it will work correctly?…
I’m truly at a loss….and I still can’t figure out why it works on some pc’s….arg!!

I’ve checked in Safari at work, there’s no header issue. Can you maybe post a link to a screenshot showing the problem? Maybe we misunderstood your problem. Other than that I can’t see what would be at fault here.
