    Hi,

I have been getting this issue on my 2 wordpress installations. WordPress version is 4.5.3 and theme is twentysixteen with no plugins installed.
The issue is when i try to add header image in the website from Appearance -> Header, i click on Add New image in the side panel and upload a new header image, then it takes me to crop image page wherein i skip cropping and then move to next step and click on Save and Publish. This displays the header image in Customizer.
Then when i visit the website the header image is not set. And in the admin area when i click on Appearance -> Header i do not see the image previously uploaded instead get a blue cross sign without any image inside the same.

There is no permission issue, no https installed on the server but still i am getting this issue on two wordpress installations.

    Hi!

When you save are there any console errors? Do you get any console errors on the front end of your site?

Are you able to provide a link to the site?

    Have you tried reinstalling WordPress?

    Hi,

Sorry i cannot provide the link to the website.

The only console message that i get is:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
    VM3773 jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:2

Yes i have tried reinstalling the wordpress but the problem is still there.
