    I want to put a custom header on my website. But I’m really having trouble figuring out how to do it. I tried installing a header plugin, but then when I uploaded the image I got a message saying that my theme doesn’t allow custom headers. But isn’t there some way I can still use a custom header?

    Try changing themes.

    Thanks but I can’t figure stuff like that out. I’m a poet not a computer wiz. If it’s possible, can somebody just give me step-by-step, clear instructions of EXACTLY what I have to do to add a custom header image. Thank you.

    Change themes. Seriously. Not all themes include this functionality, but a great many do — if you’re not up to creating your own themes (which is absolutely fine), AND it’s a feature that’s really important to you, you should support the themes that include the features you need.

    You can start with a theme search with the custom-header checkbox ticked.

    no – we don’t even know the name of your theme.

    if you want to customise any web application, you need to know or learn some coding;

    if not, there is always https://jobs.wordpress.net/

    Oh yeah…well I figured it out on my own. My theme is Albizia and I’m located at https://www.burstingplethora.com. It took me a while to figure it out. Here are the steps I followed:

    * Create the image (850x200px)
    * Upload the image to a free url hosting site, such as https://www.imageurlhost.com/
    * Once uploaded, click image to view it at full size
    * On that screen, copy the URL in your address bar
    * Go to Appearance<Albizia Theme Options<Header
    * Make sure option 1B is selected
    * Paste URL into the box beside 1B
    * Scroll down, click Update Options
    * Finito!

    Those were the kind of instructions I was looking for. Novice me! Thanks everybody for at least trying to help me. Peace and Love to you all!
