Custom Gallery Question

  • Hi, I’m very new to WordPress and am just trying to get my head around how it all pieces together.

    We have been asked to duplicate the gallery on the following website in WordPress: https://www.cedarspottery.com/cedars_pottery/Portfolio/Portfolio.html

    The images seem to be image maps which change images depending on the position of the pointer. Clicking on any of these images takes you to a seperate gallery page.
    I’ve seen literally dozens galleries that can be used for WordPress but nothing that quite matches this.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

  • That is done using JavaScript / jQuery. It is a whole new beast. Unless you know how to code yourself, your going to have to find a plugin or find someone who can code do it for you.
