    Hi,

My frontpage is a static page with a custom template (index-x.php). After submitting the form (CF without Ajax), the template is being ignored and uses index.php instead, which messes up the frontpage.

It works fine in these circumstances:

    – When I disable Honeypot
    – Or: When it’s NOT used on the frontpage but on other pages (also with a custom layout template)

    Tested with:

    HP 2.1, CF 5.4.1, WP 5.6.1
    HP 2.1, CF 5.5.3, WP 5.6.1
    HP 2.1, CF 5.5.3, WP 5.8.1

    Thanks in advance.

Well I ‘fixed’ it by avoiding the Static Page option at Settings, and renamed the custom template to: home.php

H @thedyke – apologies for the slow reply. Honeypot doesn’t change anything in relation to WordPress’ internal template hierarchy or redirection — it simply checks a value and returns a Boolean value to the Contact Form 7 plugin. I wonder if maybe there is another conflict, but it isn’t obvious unless Honeypot is installed for some reason.
