• Read through some (all) of the support tickets on here… what I need is to change this form out.

The best way is to allow the user to enter in a shortcode for a Contact Form 7 or Gravity Form. You will just need to hook into both so they work with your plugin. No need to modify the theme as you mention you were concerned about.

I’m using PODs to extend my posts and Gravity Forms to create the custom form. Then I have the GF extension for PODs, which allows me to send the submitted for data to my custom post type. So easy.

I think your “article” area just needs to be a configurable section. If the backend “setting” for the form is blank, use the default. If the user has a custom form option selected, use that. It may be as simple as a dropdown asked if they are going to use a 3rd party form (like Gravity Forms) and then a place to enter in the shortcode.

The display of drafts and articles published could just look at the standard posts published by that user.

Most themes have GF and CF7 styles built in, so no need for you to worry about styling.

Let me know! I’m very excited to see this option added.

I need this. Your attention to this is appreciated by me and all others using your plugin.
