Custom formatting breaks other plugins

  • I am the developer of plugin WP Photo Album Plus.
    I get many questions about damaged layout, mostly caused by this plugins Custom Formatting checkbox.

    I kindly ask you to change the default setting ( checked ) to unchecked, as it is my opinion that installing a plugin that is aware of unwanted side effects should have its settings so that the known side effects do not appear.

    Also, i would like to know how my plugin can detect that setting, so i can generate a warning message when it is ‘on’.
