Custom Form Reverted to Basic Contact Form

I really liked how easy WP Forms was to create a custom form. However, it loses points for the following:

? No customer support for the Lite version which deters me from purchasing Pro version;
? Lack of quality documentation regarding customing the button to take on the look & function from the theme, therefore, requires hiring a developer;
? I created an extensive form that worked for 2 days. When I logged back in to finish the button, the form had reverted to a basic contact form — I lost all the work I had done;
? When I then updated the plugin, the basic form was removed from my website (yes I use a child theme).
