    Dear WP Job Manager community,

I am using the WP Job Manager since nearly one year for my non-profit job board (https://gamesjobsgermany.de/).

When I set up the job board, I’ve made several adjustments to the plugin, especially for the job submit form (to remove all unnecessary fields like twitter account, video etc.).

Everything worked fine since then, but today I’ve noticed that all my custom adjustments seem to be lost/reset – so that the my originally removed fields (twitter, video etc.) are back in my job submit form (https://gamesjobsgermany.de/stellenangebot-eintragen/) while other fields (like ‘starting date’) are not there anymore.

I am not 100% sure when this ‘reset’ happened, but it should only be a few days ago. I am very confused because I have to idea what the cause for this behavior or how I can fix it.

Do you have any idea or suggestion?

Thank you very much in advance for your support & ideas.

    Tim

    Hi!

Hmm, I can’t think of any reason why this would have happened. We did recently release a plugin update, and you are running the latest version; did the plugin update automatically in your site, or did you do it manually? How did you change the fields? Did you do it through code, or with another plugin?

Thank you very much for your reply, Richard.

The plugin update to version 1.30.0 did happen automatically.

I did my form adjustments through code. For example, I removed some fields like the twitter user and company video, and did also make the registration field invisible. But now all fields are back at my form (please see https://gamesjobsgermany.de/stellenangebot-eintragen/).

…and the field for the starting date of the job is gone now, from the submission form as well as from the wordpress backend.

I did my form adjustments through code.

What code, where? Did you edit the plugin files, or did you add something to a custom plugin or a code snippet plugin or your theme’s functions.php? Did you hide via CSS or through PHP?
