• I’m working with OceanWP, Elementor and WPGlobus (English and Portuguese) on a staging site. I’ve created a dual language footer template and added it to the customizer. The template is almost identical in both languages with very few changes in text.
It worked fine in the beginning but after a few changes it is not showing correctly on the second language in the frontend, even though it shows correctly in the Customizer panel. Somehow format and color are inconsistent on the Portuguese footer but the English one is fine.
I’ve tried creating different templates with different names, single language, cleared cache, emptied trash bins, deactivated all plugins, but nothing seems to fix this issue. I’m just a volunteer for a non profit with very little knowledge so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • HI,

Since the custom footer was built with Elementor and Oceanwp does not control the elementor settings/design.
It could be that Elementor doesn’t play well with the translation plugin
Please go to Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS, but it would be better to consult with Elementor support also to check the issue.

    Thank you so much Abhishek
I have regenerated CSS many times and it didn’t fix it. Now I’m having additional issues with formatting of dual language pages. Some formatting is being ignored and it is breaking my site, which is very frustrating. You are right, it is clear that WPGlobus and Elementor do not play well together. I will try consulting with Elementor.
    Thanks
