Custom footer

Hi newmedici,

This copyright message is displayed in Minamaze (free) and cannot be safely removed very easily. The only way to remove this is to edit a core file which is very risky and can result in the whole theme breaking and bringing down your website. Even if you are able to change it then your custom copyright will be overwritten automatically during the next theme update. As such we don’t support this customization.

Let me know if you have any other ideas on where you can place your company copyright, and I’ll see if I can help.

is this open for change in the purchased theme?

is there any hassle in upgrading to PRO from free later.. so I can keep on working on the free version and simply upgrade to get the extra features?

I am also having the problem as Mr. newmedici,
I am inquiring, does any one have an idea on the file that contains that function where i can change this from. ie Developed by Think Up Themes Ltd. Powered by WordPress.

Please follow these steps:
1- Login to WordPress as admin.
2- Go to “Appearance” > “Editor”
3- Open “Footer.php”
4- Edit it!

Original code:

<?php === Add custom footer === thinkup_input_copyright(); ?>

Edited Code:

<?php  echo "ADD YOUR TEXT HERE"; /* === Add custom footer ===  thinkup_input_copyright(); */ ?>

Are the footer credits able to be edited in the premium version of the theme? I am currently using the free version but want to upgrade to the premium version. Many thanks.

I hate to be rude but there’s other free themes that let you change the footer credit as long as you don’t put “Designed by” but rather something like “Developed by”. This is nuts! Did anyone have luck??
