custom fonts load very late

Hello,

I use your custom font plugin. My page loads really slowly, especially on mobile devices. I had a look on GTMetrix and found out, that the custom fonts are loaded really late. Normally the page should load the HTML, then the CSS and then the fonts, but this is not the case. After the CSS a lot of pictures where loaded and not the fonts, see image below:

I already use WPRocket and the lazy load function, but it doesn′t help. What can I do to make the page load the custom fonts earlier and to speed things up?
