Custom font not working category pages

I am using custom fonts, which is working fine on all pages except in the category pages.

For all other pages, the font is loading from the following address

https://xxxx.com/fonts/open-sans-v18-latin-regular.woff2

But for only category pages, there are loading from a different location as below and failing to laod.

https://xxxxx.com/category/home-appliances/fonts/open-sans-v18-latin-regular.woff2

if I create a separate fonts folder and place it in that location it’s working.

But I want all fonts to load from a single place which I place in the root domain folder

I am not sure why this happening, can someone please help me with this issue.
