Custom Fileds

  • Hi,
    I’m using a plugin called Custom Fields. It allows me to make custom fields to enter information while making a post. The plugin is working as it should, but I can’t get it to display in the post. https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/displaying-custom-field-values-in-your-theme/

    I’m trying to figure out where and in what template to add (as an example) <h1><?php the_field(‘custom_title’); ?></h1>

    I can get it to show up in the main index template, but not in a post. I know I’m not supossed to tamper with the templates, but once I figure which to manipulate, I will add a child template. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regretfully, this particular customisation request would fall outside the scope of support we can give. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. You would make a child theme first and afterwards you can proceed further.

    Thanks for the reply. Can you please just tell me which template single.php would be?
